Bruce Anderson is a graduate of the University of BC obtaining his Bachelor's of Science degree in Microbiology. Currently he is the Biosafety Officer for the University of British Columbia. He has held this position for 16 years during which time he has developed a comprehensive Biosafety Program. He is the coordinator and chief instructor in the UBC Laboratory Biological Safety Course and is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Medicine, Academic Pathology and in the Graduate Programme for Master's in Occupational Hygiene. Prior to this Bruce was the Assistant Radiation Safety Officer for UBC. He has been a member of ABSA and ABSA Canada since 1991.
